Sponsar ("we", "us") operates the website sponsar.net, a self-service advertising platform that helps businesses in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region promote their own social media posts. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

1. Information you give us

When you create an account and use Sponsar, we collect:

• Your name, email address and phone number.
• A password, which is stored only as a cryptographic hash and never in readable form.
• The link to the social media post you want to promote, or a TikTok ad authorization code for your own video.
• Your campaign settings: goal, budget, duration, target cities, age range and gender.
• Payment receipts you upload when you add credit to your balance.

2. Information we receive from advertising platforms

When you ask us to promote a post, we use the official advertising APIs of Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok to create the ad on your behalf. From those platforms we receive performance data about your own ad only, such as amount spent, impressions, reach, video views, clicks, likes, comments, shares and new followers.

We do not receive, request or store the personal data of the people who see your ad. We cannot see who viewed, clicked or interacted with it — only totals.

3. How we use your information

• To create and manage the ad campaigns you request.
• To show you the performance of your own campaigns in your dashboard.
• To manage your balance, payments and refunds.
• To contact you about your account, a request, or a problem with a campaign.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.

4. Who we share information with

We share information only where it is necessary to provide the service:

• Meta Platforms, Inc. and TikTok Ltd. — the post or video you asked us to promote and the targeting settings you chose, so the ad can be created.
• Our hosting provider — which stores the website and its database.

We may also disclose information if we are required to do so by law. We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers or marketing companies.

5. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in, and, if you choose "remember me", a long-lived token so you do not have to log in each time. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this website.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. Campaign records and payment receipts are kept for accounting and dispute-resolution purposes. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal information and keep only the minimum financial records we are required to retain.

7. Security

The website is served over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, access to the administration panel is restricted, and uploaded files are validated and stored outside the areas of the server that can execute code. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

8. Your rights

You can at any time:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct information that is wrong.
• Ask us to delete your account and personal information.

You can also delete your account yourself, at any time, on the website or in the Sponsar app: tap the person icon at the top of the home screen (Account), then Delete account. Your name, email address, username and password are removed immediately; only the financial records described in section 6 are kept, without your personal information.

9. Children

Sponsar is a service for businesses and is not directed at children. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
